I am a registered clinical psychologist. I completed undergraduate training at McGill University, doctoral training at Concordia University, and post-doctoral training at Florida State University. I completed my clinical internship at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) in the Mood and Anxiety Program.
I subsequently worked as a staff clinical psychologist in the Mood Disorders Program at CAMH, and gained extensive training in psychological assessments and the delivery of individual and group cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT). I have been working at a university counselling centre since 2013, providing CBT to students dealing with a variety of mental health problems. I also provide clinical supervision to students in psychology who are completing their pre-doctoral internship.
I am a member of the College of Psychologists of Ontario (CPO) and of the Canadian Psychological Association (CPA).
I work in collaboration with clients to identify the main presenting problem, to develop a treatment plan that fits their needs, to set realistic goals for therapy, and to help develop the skills needed to manage and reduce the symptoms that interfere in their daily life and functioning.
